England Under-17

England-flagEngland qualify for UEFA European Under-17 Championship

What a fantastic turn out, over 250 people from Hasland CFC turned up to watch England claim a 3-1 victory over Slovenia at the Proact Stadium to reach the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

England have booked their spot in this year's UEFA European Under-17 Championship with their impressive win over beating Slovenia.

Goals were scored by Reece Oxford, Nathan Holland and an own goal from Matija Rom gave the hosts a three-goal lead at the break, before Jan Mlakar scored a consolation for the Slovenians in the second half.

The result was enough to send England through at the top of Group Six in the elite round of qualifying, with their final game against Romania to come on Thursday.

The finals of the Championship will take place during May in Bulgaria.

Maybe one day we will see someone from Hasland CFC make it into a National squad.
