About Us

Hasland CFC was started by a group of volunteers who wanted to create a club that followed it's core values, constitution, rules and regulations whilst also offering a safe, enjoyable environment for young people of all abilities to play football.

2006/07 was our first season (playing as Rutland Rangers U14's) in the Rowsley League, with a single U14's Team, some success under our belts and to expand the club further the committee and players agreed to rename the club Hasland Community Football Club, (Hasland CFC for short).

What a season, achieving more than we ever expected in a first season. When we started the club we would be happy if we won one game, having played the final game of the 2006/07 season we had won five games and drawn one.

All credit to the lads who have really settled in well, worked well and developed into a team that anyone would be proud to be associated with. We can only thank them for their dedication throughout our initial year.

Hasland Community Football Club
achieve top Charter Standard Community Status award

I am pleased to announce that Hasland CFC have achieved The FA Charter Standard Community Status.

The Charter Standards are split into 3 levels starting at “Charter Standard”, then “Development club” and finally and the top award “Community Status”.

Thanks to the very hard work of several committee members, lead by Michael Conway, we were awarded the top award this week. This is a very significant step forward for the club and shows are commitment to ensuring the highest of standards in all that we do at the club.

We are the first club in The Chesterfield area to be awarded this prestigious honour and we will let all club members know when and where we will be receiving our plaque to commemorate this.

Clive Pickles (Chairman)
