
Planning and chairing meetings, making sure everything is covered and decisions are made when required, keeping order, helping the club deal with differences of opinion and conflicts, being sure that everyone who wants to has a chance to speak.
Ensuring the club as a whole makes and sticks to priorities and policies, serving as a spokesperson for the club. To guide the club and chair all club and committee meetings, to liaise closely with the Secretary about dates, arrangements, agendas, correspondence for committee meetings, and content of minutes, to liaise with the Treasurer about the financial state of the club, to be familiar with all the club's rules and regulations contained in the constitution.
Liaising with the League, County F.A. and club members on all club matters, arranging meetings including the AGM when it is due.
Recording and producing accurate minutes of all committee meetings including the A.G.M. and any E.G.M.s which make take place. Storing for future reference as part of the clubs records. Reporting at committee meetings on any events, issues or general news which could affect or be of interest to the club members.
Collection of details of new members, and maintaining an up to date record of the details of all current members.
Communicating with other clubs, associations and organisations to promote and protect the future well being of the club.
Supervise the collection of subscription fee's. Collection of signing on fee's etc.
Co-ordination of events organised by the club.
Maintain orderly control of the clubs finances. Keeping records of income and expenditure accounts. The preparation and presentation of financial reports at all committee meetings at the AGM. Banking of club funds. Receiving of bills on behalf of the club and it's members.
Payment of members affiliation fees to the County F.A. and fees to relevant bodies. Payment of all costs incurred in the running of the club, i.e. Insurance, Pitch fees etc. Procurement of equipment for the club and it's members.
Creation, development and maintainence of the club website. Design and printing of official club logo's, literature and advertising.
A point of contact in all issues relating to the welfare of young people and to ensure all appropriate documentation and forms are completed in accordance with the clubs policy and procedures for the welfare of young people in the club.
Ensure the club child protection policy is implemented. Follow codes of conduct in consultation with the League Welfare Officer ensure all reported incidents are managed at the appropriate level in line with club procedures.
Make all parents aware of the club policy on child protection and the correct protocols for voicing concerns. Be aware of local social services and area child protection committee contacts.
