About Us

Hasland Community FC

Established in 2007, Hasland Community Football Club was formed by a group of volunteers looking to create a club following a core set of values, rules and regulations - whilst also offering a safe, enjoyable environment for young people, of all abilities, to play football.

The club was formed with just one Under 15s team playing in 2nd division of the Rowsley & District Youth Football League.

Before the first game of the season, the club would have been happy to have won just one game during the entire season. Finishing the campaign as league Champions with promotion to Division 1 was beyond our wildest dreams.

With this experience under their belts, the committee and players agreed on an expansion plan to grow Hasland CFC. This marked the start of what has been a remarkable journey - which has seen the club go from just one team, to now having 19 teams, from Mini Kickers to Mens & Ladies, playing across a number of different local leagues.

Managed by a committee of 10 volunteers, who are supported by 25+ dedicated managers, coaches and volunteers, the club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. All our managers, coaches and volunteers are fully DBS (CRB) checked, FA qualified and fully committed to providing an environment in which children and adults can develop their skills, build relationships, developing their teamwork skills and enjoy playing the beautiful game.

In recent years the club is proud to have become an official partner of the Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust, and has also achieved FA Charter Standard Community Club status - which acknowledges the most advanced level of club development and football provision.

The Committee

Our committee meets every month and co-ordinates the day-to-day running of the club. It is made up of a team of dedicated volunteers who oversee coach recruitment and development, child welfare, club finances, media and communications, events and much more.
